We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client, a respected community charity in St. Austell. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a flexible working arrangement and potential for hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Produce management accounts for presentation to the board of trustees, including commentary on financial performance.
- Manage bank reconciliations, cashflow, and income monitoring.
- Prepare and submit HMRC returns, including payroll operations and employee pensions.
- Prepare annual balance sheets and statutory reports in line with Charities SORP.
- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure compliance and transparency.
Requirements: We are looking for a commercially astute Finance Manager with experience in a charity accounting environment or the private sector. Relevant technical and career experience are more important than qualification status. Applications are invited from QBE, AAT, and part/fully professionally qualified applicants.
