Job Title: Static Specialist Physiotherapist Stroke

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to work in our Stroke Service. As a Static Specialist Physiotherapist Stroke, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy to patients in our clinical areas. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver highly skilled physiotherapy to patients in our clinical areas
  • Act as a senior clinical decision maker, leading complex care and discharge planning
  • Deliver rehabilitation to ensure patients are optimally rehabilitated and discharged effectively and efficiently
  • Make onward referral to other services as required
  • Support the development of less experienced, unregistered staff and students within the team

Requirements:

  • Diploma/MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy
  • Current Health Professions Council registration
  • Proven clinical experience in relevant clinical specialty
  • Evidence of continuing professional development

Working Hours:

37 hours per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
