Job Title: Project Director

A leading Main Contractor is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join their Construction Delivery team, working on a c£80m New Build Mixed-Use project in Suffolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to take on a leadership role in the local business, managing all project management functions from planning, design, and financial management, through to practical construction delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects £50m+ as No1 PM, with a working knowledge of pre-construction project management, contract management, H&S, and exceptional client-facing skills.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has a stable career history delivering projects over £50m and is looking for a step up to Director level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project management functions for the project, including planning, design, and financial management.
  • Lead a team of c20 staff, including technical knowledge of planning, design, commercial, and construction delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management or comparable qualification.
  • Previous experience in managing projects £50m+ as No1 PM.
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-construction project management, contract management, H&S.
  • Exceptional client-facing and people management skills.
