About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Performance Associate to join our Performance Group at Hoare Lea. As a key member of our team, you will play a lead role in integrated project design teams and act in a professional, personable, and competent manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, advising and assisting clients on their journey to improved building performance.
  • Offer expert advice on building system optimisation and energy consumption.
  • Actively promote all services offered by HL to assist Client's projects.
  • Represent Hoare Lea at project meetings, managing and prioritising the workload of a project team including specialist groups.
  • Contribute to the professional development of individual team members, monitoring project expenditure and reporting to team leader.
  • Ensure quality standards and technical accuracy are delivered, identifying and highlighting risks to business.
  • Get involved in industry initiatives designed to promote the importance of building performance.
  • Have a good understanding of other disciplines, excellent written and spoken English skills, and excellent organisational and planning skills to effectively work to timescales and deadlines.
  • Have in-depth relevant industry experience, enthusiasm for the role, and previous experience of energy consumption or building controls.
  • Experience of mentoring junior members of staff and an understanding of project fee expenditure and resourcing.
