About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our community outreach efforts. As a Community Outreach Ambassador, you will play a vital role in raising awareness about dementia in your local area.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for supporting local events, holding information stands, and displaying leaflets in various venues and locations. Your task will be to ensure that the information publicised in your community is up-to-date and accurate. You will also establish connections with local organisations and community groups to help achieve widespread awareness of the support we offer.

Requirements:

  • You should enjoy meeting members of the public and attending local events.
  • You are passionate about raising awareness about dementia in your local community.
  • You are able to volunteer both independently and within a local team.
  • You are able to travel to a variety of venues or events, bringing with you the relevant support information and materials.

Salary: £12,000 - £15,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
