Teach Now: SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs in a Camden school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the classroom with the implementation of the curriculum
  • Provide creative activities and supervision of pupils
  • Support pupils with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and behavioural or emotional needs

Requirements:

  • Patience and understanding
  • Natural ability to build relationships with young people
  • Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Motivation and encouragement to help pupils reach their full potential
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Previous experience working in a school environment
