Job Summary:
Pertemps Network Group is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team in the Scottish Borders. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of employees within a well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:
- Take minutes and provide basic employee relations advice
- Assist with investigations and support managers in the absence of the HR Advisor
- Administration Support:
- Provide administrative support with day-to-day HR tasks
- Assist with contracts and offer letters
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
- Miscellaneous:
- Record employee absences and sickness
- Support with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Conduct analysis of HR processes and procedures
- Assist with internal audits and provide weekly and monthly HR reports
- Perform other HR-related duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous HR experience is essential, with a good understanding of employment legislation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent verbal and written abilities
- Proficiency in IT systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Desirable: HR qualification or equivalent experience
