We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Carer to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Living Support: Assist clients with essential daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their personal hygiene and dignity are preserved.
- Medication Management: Oversee and administer medications according to prescriptions, ensuring clients stay on track with their medication schedules.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage clients in enriching activities and conversations to enhance their overall well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals that cater to clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
- Household Maintenance: Handle light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility challenges, including the use of mobility aids and helping with transfers from bed to chair.
- Experience: Prior experience in live-in caregiving or healthcare roles is beneficial but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Empathy: A compassionate and sincere approach, with a deep desire to make a positive difference in others' lives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
- Patience: The capacity to manage challenging situations with composure and empathy, offering consistent support and reassurance.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the changing needs of clients and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Attractive Compensation: Earn £925 per week, with payments made every Friday and a £50 weekly meal allowance included.
