About the Camp Manager Role



The Camp Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our summer camp program, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Leading a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs and activities.
  • Managing camp operations, including logistics, facilities, and supervision.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of campers and staff.
  • Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.


Requirements:




  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • Availability to work during school holidays.
  • UK/EU citizen with right to work ID.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a team.
  • Possess energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of safeguarding awareness.
  • Paediatric first aid certification desirable.
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification.
