Children's Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a relief basis. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with additional or complex needs.
Based in our residential area in Glasgow, you will work in partnership with families to create a stimulating and caring environment that meets the individual needs and aspirations of every young person. Your primary focus will be on providing hands-on support and care, including personal care, and acting as a key worker to identified children.
You will be responsible for implementing care plans, administering medication, and modeling excellent social care practice. Your role will also involve supporting families and carers, empowering children to access local services and leisure opportunities, and contributing to the setting up, carrying out, and reviewing of care plans.
We are looking for a positive, proactive team player who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of the children we support. If you have a SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) and experience administering medication and working with children, we would love to hear from you.
