Support Worker for Children with Additional Needs

Job Description
The Support for Learning Worker plays a vital role in the mainstream primary and additional support needs primary and secondary school environment, providing support and assistance to children and young people with additional support needs to access the curriculum.
Additional Support Needs Schools cater to a range of needs, from Complex Learning Needs to Additional Learning Needs.
Main duties and responsibilities include providing care and support to children/young people, building positive working relationships, and promoting positive behaviour.
The position also involves providing support for the supervision and administration of medication and personal care.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to cover the costs associated with PVG Scheme Membership/Checks and regulatory body registration where necessary.
