About the Role

Cora Partners is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our private residence near Virginia Water, Surrey.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks of the property. This will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Heating and boiler maintenance, including ground source and/or air source heat pump, thermostats, and underfloor heating
  • Painting and decorating as required
  • Roof and gutter maintenance, including removing leaves, clearing debris, and cutting back climbers
  • Checking drains and septic tanks and arranging external contractors as needed
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of electric gates and troubleshooting when necessary
  • Testing fire and security systems, including alarms and CCTV
  • Errand running for the household
  • Leaf blowing of driveways as required
  • Assisting with heavy lifting, setting up events, cleaning hard-to-reach areas, and removing rubbish
  • Chopping wood and filling firewood baskets
  • Cleaning and servicing bicycles
  • Maintaining the family boat
  • Cleaning gutters and windows
  • Arranging external contractors as needed
  • Keeping garden irrigation systems in working order
  • Attending security call-outs as required
  • Performing additional garden duties, such as watering, weeding, and lawn mowing
Requirements
  • UK Passport or right to work in the UK
  • A valid driving license
  • Highly skilled with a flexible mindset and a team player
Working Hours and Location

Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:30

Virginia Water, Surrey
