Join Our Team as a Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Defence. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare delicious, high-quality food that meets our high standards.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
  • Machinery and Equipment: Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
  • Delivery and Supply: Assist with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Food Handling and Hygiene: Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Team Player: Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent Communication: Be an excellent team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Organisation and Timekeeping: Have a committed and organised approach with exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible to work shifts and adapt to changing circumstances.
