About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Analyst to join our team in a key role that will involve generating, validating, and investigating data related to waste and recycling activity. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to identify trends and performance in waste and recycling materials generated and associated activities.

The ideal candidate will have accounting experience and qualifications equivalent to AAT level 4, along with demonstrable experience in producing and interrogating management accounts. This is a hybrid role that requires some time to be spent working at the Parkhouse Building in Carlisle and occasionally attending in-person meetings in Cumberland or Westmorland & Furness Council areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate, validate, and investigate data related to waste and recycling activity
  • Identify trends and performance in waste and recycling materials generated and associated activities
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Participate in planning and analysing the impact of changes in legislation and the evolution of waste services within a contract environment
