Design and Construction Project Manager - Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment

Insight Executive Group Limited is partnering with North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust to source a Design and Construction Project Manager for the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of the main build, managing technical aspects and ensuring alignment with national healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and milestones for the construction works, ensuring effective communication between clinical, operational, and design teams.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and implement strategies to minimise the hospital's carbon footprint and ensure sustainable design and construction practices.
  • Build strong working relationships with Trust leadership, architects, contractors, and key external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and project delivery.
  • Oversee the budget for the main build, ensuring cost efficiencies and value for money throughout the procurement and construction processes.
Requirements:
  • A highly experienced construction professional with a strong background in managing large-scale capital projects, ideally within the healthcare or public sector.
  • Experience in business case development, governance, and working collaboratively with partner organisations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
