Job Title:

A Teaching Position in a Specialist SEN School

About the School:

Polaris Careers is seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team at Selwyn Hall School, a new SEN school in the South West of Cambridge.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students with SEMH needs
  • To develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • To work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication across teams
Requirements:
  • Degree in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly SEMH
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practices and differentiated instruction
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
  • Permanent contract with term-time only hours
