Neighbourhood Response Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Neighbourhood Response Officer. This is a full-time, temporary position with an initial contract period of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver a customer-focused housing management service to the community, ensuring estates are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  2. Conduct regular estate inspections and prioritize fire safety risk assessment follow-up work.
  3. Work with local residents' groups to develop local community facilities, activities, and events as part of a neighbourhood plan and local offers.
  4. Collaborate with local partners, such as safer neighbourhood teams, the voluntary sector, and youth services, on neighbourhood safety and ASB issues.
  5. Carry out property and estate inspections, resolving any issues identified.
  6. Conduct viewings and sign-ups or tenancy assignments.
  7. Ensure tenants' properties and estates comply with legislation and agreed standards.
  8. Work alongside the community to develop community-based solutions.
  9. Serve relevant legal notices in accordance with policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Experience of providing good customer service.
  2. Experience of dealing with customers in person.
  3. Customer-focused.
  4. Enjoys working with people in the community.
  5. Confident and able to work alone.
  6. Demonstrates the ability and motivation to learn quickly and achieve results.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
  8. Full driving licence with use of own vehicle.
  9. Able to work early evenings and occasional weekends if required.
  10. Enhanced DBS Required.

The pay range for the role is £21.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £17.61 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
