Motor Vehicle Workshop Facilitator and Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our Motor Vehicle team at the Engineering Academy. The successful candidate will support practical workshop sessions, lead on activities with small groups, and maintain workshop equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead on practical workshop sessions
- Maintain workshop equipment and liaise with the Curriculum Team Leader
- Assist and lead on health and safety aspects, including risk assessment and equipment inventory
- Maintain correct levels of consumable items and prepare vehicles for demonstration
- Support external visits and open days
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles or have equivalent experience. Health and safety experience is beneficial. The College welcomes applications from enthusiastic motor vehicle vocational specialists willing to work with young people.
Working Hours:
The suggested working hours are Monday to Friday, 12.40pm to 4.55pm, however, this can be discussed at interview.
