Senior Network Architect

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Network Architect at Elanco, you will lead large-scale projects and set technical direction for engineering teams. You will influence company-wide engineering practices and standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and solve complex problems with innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years' experience in network engineering
  • 8+ years' hands-on experience in routing, switching, wireless, segmentation (Cisco)
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of SDN technologies (Cisco SD-WAN, VMWare NSX)
  • 5+ years' experience in designing and building technical solutions
  • Solid understanding of firewall technologies (especially Palo Alto)
  • Solid knowledge of Network Access Control (especially Forescout)
  • Understanding hybrid cloud environment (Azure, GCP, VMware)
  • Familiar with network security solutions
  • Strong communication skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex ideas in a manner that resulted in a definitive direction and result
  • Strong personal & work organisational skills

Nice to Have:

  • Familiar with scripting and automation
  • Experience within an infrastructure environment
  • Experience in working with vendors and MSPs
  • Strong passion for new technologies, new ideas and creative way of thinking
  • Agile exposure and experience

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or commensurate industry experience

Other Information:

Overseas travel may be required.

Working across time zones to support the global business.
