Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Life Safety Officer to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Life Safety Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our pool users.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of pool users by maintaining vigilant supervision and taking prompt action in emergency situations.
- Attend staff training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in pool safety and first aid.
- Administer first aid, effect pool rescues, and apply resuscitation as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Comply with health and safety procedures and report any maintenance issues.
- Perform cleaning duties to the highest standards.
- Prepare activity areas and ensure equipment is stored safely.
- Conduct pool water quality and environmental tests.
Requirements
- Ability to swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds and 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is desirable, but we can provide training and qualification for suitable candidates.
