Key Responsibilities

The role of the Central Government Sales Director will be to execute the sales go-to-market strategy, identify new opportunities, build our pipeline, win new deals and meet company targets. This position and team is central to the growth of our UK Government sector team.

Key Skills
  1. A good understanding of the Government Sector issues and ability to advise and solutionize with the customer through a consultative sales-based approach.
  2. A track record of positioning and selling Enterprise software either directly or as part of an ecosystem.
  3. Experience of building partnerships across System Integrators, Cloud platform providers and Consultancy organizations.
  4. A good understanding of Public Sector operational and buying processes.
  5. Experience nurturing accounts and identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  6. Determination to succeed in challenging circumstances.
  7. Ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities.
  8. Existing relationships within the UK Central Government.
  9. Expertise working and solution selling within the UK Central Government.
  10. Ability to be an independent decision-maker but equally is inclusive when evaluating options.
  11. Ambitious and energetic with strong inter-personal skills.
  12. Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities.
  13. Good team player, capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances.
  14. Ability to support market changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positively.
  15. Ability to plan for the future.
  16. Can perform effectively in complex and difficult environments.
  17. Can achieve success through others.
  18. Optimistic in outlook and can identify opportunities.
  19. Constructive, resilient and perseverant.
  20. You will either hold current SC clearance or will have the willingness and ability to achieve SC clearance.
