About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Arla Foods. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialist maintenance and engineering support to our fully automated site, operating complex process equipment such as Homogenisers, pasteurization, Separators, CIP systems, instrumentation, pumps, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively perform electrical, mechanical maintenance, and controls fault finding of all Dairy process equipment.
  • Ensure the legal compliance and efficient/reliable operation of all plant within budget while instilling an atmosphere of continuous improvement to ensure the continued effectiveness of our operations.
  • Liaise with all departments, including site Energy Centre, to ensure effective customer relations.

Requirements:

  • A recognised time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline with HNC/HND.
  • Demonstrate logical thought processes and ways of working.
  • 3 years recent detailed experience within an automated process environment – Food / Drinks / Brewing / Pharmaceutical.
  • Technical hands-on expert in all process-related plant and equipment Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Skilled in reading SCADA visualisations.

Functional Skill Set:

  • Condition Based Monitoring (CBM).
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
  • Use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – SAP Maintenance Module.
  • Deliver day-to-day and preventive maintenance on all site servers, drivers, and automation systems.
  • Participate in and lead on local CI initiatives, taking ownership of projects and delivering tangible results.
