Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our live production equipment, as well as supporting the Building Maintenance & Health and Safety Manager in the upkeep of our UK sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, repair of movable property, carpentry, plumbing, and lighting.
  • Estimate project costs and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with tradespeople to perform major repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Plan, oversee, and undertake maintenance to external building works and car parks.
  • Perform other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by management.

Requirements

  • Insightful problem-solving skills, with a focus on health and safety and building maintenance.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations governing buildings and health and safety.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of health, safety, and risk management.
  • Understanding of current health and safety legislation, management, and standards.
  • Knowledge of heating appliances and systems, electricity, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Availability to respond to emergency calls and travel as needed.
  • Flexibility to work reasonable extra hours as required.
  • Good administration and organizational skills.
  • Extensive experience in the building trade.

Desirable Skills

  • Certificate as a skilled worker in one or more trades.
  • COSHH qualification.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Audio industry experience.

Education and Experience

  • Educated to industry-related degree level or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role.
