About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team at Lookers Middlesbrough Ford. As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for processing warranty claims to manufacturer standards, ensuring accurate submissions, and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly warranty reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine completed warranty repair orders and prepare claim forms and supporting material
- Ensure maximum return from the manufacturer for all warranty work, including the issue of credit notes and associated paperwork
- Review warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify improvements and administer warranty policy in the best interests of the manufacturer and customer
- Input the manufacturer's warranty payments, return of warranty parts to the manufacturer, and reconcile warranty schedules
- Keep accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions toward goodwill claims

Requirements
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and develop relationships with customers, colleagues, and manufacturers. Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator is desirable.
