About the Role

Soccer Aid Productions is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior PR Manager to lead our sports and lifestyle media relations efforts. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of one of the country's most significant cultural events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic media relations plans to secure high-profile coverage across all mediums.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including TV, print, and online outlets.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications to identify and capitalize on media opportunities.
  • Manage and execute press conferences, red-carpet events, and other high-profile activations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the sports and lifestyle media landscape, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution.
  • Manage and maintain a database of media contacts, including their interests, preferences, and contact information.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive media relations strategy, including media outreach, pitching, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute media-friendly content, including press releases, media kits, and other materials.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, including metrics and trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and thought leaders in the sports and lifestyle space.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports and lifestyle media relations, with a proven track record of securing high-profile coverage.
  • Strong relationships with key media contacts, including TV, print, and online outlets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and press releases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong understanding of the sports and lifestyle media landscape, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ability to travel as needed, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
