As a Quality & Compliance Officer at Perrigo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Review batch documents received from third-party imported finished products.
- Send samples for testing received from third-party warehouses.
- Ensure all sample inspections are performed.
- Take reference/retention samples as required.
- Update the QP SharePoint tracker daily.
- Upload batch document paperwork, certificates of conformity/analysis, delivery notes, temperature logger information, and bill of lading to batches uploaded to the QP SharePoint tracker.
- Identify any necessary deviations, UK QC laboratory out-of-specification/trend reports, and attach to QP SharePoint.
- Update the Contract Lab Performance spreadsheet with samples sent to the UK QC laboratories and date report received.
- Ensure batches with issues are identified to the certifying QPs.
- Ensure batches are prioritized for certification and release.
- Arrange for disposal of outdated documents/samples.
- Prepare samples requested for third parties.
- Ensure all third-party samples requested by the business are collated as necessary.
- Ensure all documentation for samples required is received and correctly processed.
- Where necessary, ensure all removable contents are removed.
- Where necessary, ensure all samples are identified as not for use.
- Ensure samples are not handed over to non-Quality & Compliance staff until properly prepared.
- Prepare the weekly email regarding testing and release schedules.
- Recent graduate or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Computer literate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- SAP desirable but not essential.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently is key for this role.
