Senior Quantity Surveyor

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the East Midlands region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of high-profile projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background, excellent project management skills, and experience working with NEC and JCT Contracts. They will be able to effectively manage financial and contractual aspects of projects, identify and mitigate risks, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing the financial and contractual performance of projects.
2. Overseeing project performance, ensuring attainment of profit targets and efficiency savings.
3. Identifying and managing risks and opportunities associated with projects.
4. Addressing commercial queries and providing expert advice on legal matters.
5. Maintaining accurate financial logs and generating reports.
6. Ensuring compliance with assurance processes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience working within a Quantity Surveyor role.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT Contracts.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent project management and cost control skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving license.
