Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Five Education Recruitment Limited. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a special school in Martock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in a one-to-one setting, helping them access the curriculum and tailor lesson activities to their individual needs.
  • Build strong relationships with students and teaching staff to ensure students achieve their full potential.
  • Provide emotional support to students when needed, helping them to calm down and remain focused.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support students during lessons and interactions with peers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN, Autism, or Complex Needs is desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK (valid visa) and relevant DBS/POLICE checks if necessary.

Pay:

Five Education operates a PAYE payroll, ensuring transparent payment with no hidden fees. The pay rate is £12.81 per hour, with a daily rate of £83.29 (including holiday pay) and potential for increased earnings based on experience.

Vetting:

Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Successful applicants will undergo checks, including reference checks, TRA checks, and a DBS check, with an interview also required.
