Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special Education

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Five Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a special school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with SEN in a one-to-one setting, using Autism Teaching Techniques such as "Now and Next"
  • Assisting teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities tailored to individual needs
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and teaching staff to ensure optimal learning outcomes
  • Providing emotional support and helping children to calm down and remain focused
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN, Autism, or Complex Needs (desirable)
  • Right to work in the UK (valid visa required)
  • Relevant DBS/Police checks (if necessary)
