Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Avon Place. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in care and support work, although we welcome applications from those who are new to the role but passionate about helping others lead independent lives.

Job Description

In this role, you will support individuals with daily tasks, promoting their independence and well-being. You will also contribute to a close-knit community where people can form meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Encourage participation in community activities and social events
  • Maintain accurate records of individual's needs and progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in care or support work (not essential)
  • A passion for supporting others and promoting independence
  • An ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality
