Student Success Researcher and Evaluation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to play a central role in supporting the design of interventions to measure student success and leading the evaluation of the impact of Birkbeck's Student Engagement and Success Programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop an evaluation framework for assessing the impact of interventions on students' engagement, completion, continuation, and attainment.
- Lead the evaluation of the impact of Birkbeck's Student Engagement and Success Programme.
- Contribute to the development of the College's student engagement tracking system and learner analytics approach.
- Extensive research skills, including quantitative research methods and multivariate analysis.
- Experience of using social science data analysis tools.
- Excellent questionnaire design skills and significant practical experience of using them.
- Strong enthusiasm for supporting learning in higher education.
- Exceptional organisational skills and proven experience of delivering work on time and to a high quality.
- Grade 7 of the College's London Pay Scale, £42,365 rising to £48,424 per annum, pro rata for a part-time contract.
- The opportunity to join Birkbeck's Education Directorate and contribute to the implementation of the College's strategic objectives for education and student experience.
