About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HSQE Compliance Manager to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our HSQE department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation maintains high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement HSQE Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSQE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct Regular Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HSQE policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees and contractors on HSQE procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

**Requirements:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Industry Regulations: In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, including CDM and environmental legislation.
  • NEBOSH Certification: Hold a NEBOSH Construction/HS Certificate or higher, with evidence of continued professional development.

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
