Senior HSQE Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HSQE Specialist to join our team at Mitie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing compliance within our organisation and supporting the development and implementation of HSQE policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Head of HSQE: Assist in managing compliance, developing policies and procedures, and conducting on-site inspections and audits.
- Conduct On-Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with HSQE policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop Safe Systems of Work: Create and implement safe systems of work for ongoing site activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
**Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Proven Track Record: Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of improving HSQE performance and reducing risks.
- Knowledge of Industry Regulations: In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, including CDM and environmental legislation.
- NEBOSH Certification: Hold a NEBOSH Construction/HS Certificate or higher, with evidence of continued professional development.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
