We're looking for a Technical Author to create, edit, and maintain technical documents, including Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and Illustrated Parts Catalogues.

As a Technical Author, you'll be responsible for ensuring that activities under your control are undertaken in accordance with our Technical Publications, Health and Safety Manual. You'll support the timely delivery of updates and creation of Publications and IPS technical data to meet the requirements of all stakeholders.

  • Populate illustrated Parts Data in EAGLE.
  • Produce technical documentation to the required quality and specifications.
  • Ensure quality control of documentation in accordance with applicable technical authoring specifications and standards.
  • Maintain records and files of all versions and revisions in conjunction with document control.
  • Support the technical verification and validation of technical documentation.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE-100).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • A knowledge of Merlin or Wildcat aircraft is preferred but not essential.
