Seeking a Skilled Litigation Solicitor for a Reputable Law Firm

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our client's reputable legal practice in South East London. The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of litigation matters, delivering exceptional client care and high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a varied caseload of probate disputes, inheritance act claims, landlord and tenant matters, TLATA claims, and contractual disputes.
  • Providing expert advice on dispute resolution, including pre-action strategy, mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Conducting thorough legal research to support case strategy and development.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, hearings, and trials, as well as liaising with counsel and experts when necessary.
  • Keeping clients informed throughout the litigation process and providing clear, practical advice on case progression.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of litigation and dispute resolution law.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor (2 years' PQE plus) with experience in general litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of the litigation process, including court rules and procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong client-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
