Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Projects

Job Summary:

Carrington West is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Durham. As a key member of our Highways, Transport & Infrastructure division, you will oversee projects of various sizes, ensuring the preparation and maintenance of accurate budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the company's commercial strategy effectively.
  • Oversee projects of diverse sizes and scopes.
  • Handle accounts for clients and subcontractors.
  • Conduct weekly program, progress, and cost reviews and analyses.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor and report financials, coordinating closely with the project team.
  • Develop and agree on project forecasts with operational teams.
  • Conduct detailed commercial analyses of various outputs.
  • Provide commercial support for tenders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Civil Engineering Projects.
  • Experience in Contract Management, specifically C-MAR and National Highways contracts.
  • Knowledge of Construction Contracts, including NEC, JCT, and FIDIC.
  • Cost Management Expertise, skilled in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects.
