About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software developer to join our team as a Digital Innovation Lead. This exciting opportunity will see you lead the development of innovative digital solutions, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Power Platform software.



Job Overview


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of digital innovations, working closely with our analytics team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from developing new tools and applications to improving existing systems.



Key Responsibilities


As our Digital Innovation Lead, you will:



  • Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Power Platform software to design and develop innovative digital solutions.
  • Work closely with our analytics team to identify opportunities for digital innovation and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience designing and developing software applications.
  • Proven experience of system analysis and design in a work environment.
  • Experience of implementing Groupware solutions (SharePoint).
  • Development experience in Microsoft software (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).


Desirable Skills and Qualifications


In addition to the essential skills and qualifications, it would be desirable if you had:



  • Experience of supervising staff.
  • Experience of using NHS IT systems.
  • Relevant experience working within the NHS.
  • Experience of working in an Agile Development environment (Scrum).


Salary and Benefits


The salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, flexible working hours, and access to professional development opportunities.
