We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Case Management Cymru Careers. The successful candidate will work with a 13-year-old girl who has complex needs, including cognitive difficulties, cerebral palsy, and autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the young person outside of school hours to enable her to engage in activities she loves and become more independent.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and help the young person develop skills for greater independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the young person, her family, and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach and high-quality support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, particularly those with cognitive difficulties, cerebral palsy, and autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep shifts, and to provide additional support during school holidays.
