Director of Business Development Opportunity

EBC is partnering with a renowned engineering solutions consultancy to find a Director of Business Development to lead their sales and business development efforts in the UK manufacturing sector.

This is a remote role with travel required to meet with clients and attend industry events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant engineering processes, technologies, and industry trends, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Manage proposal and contract management processes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular reporting and analytics to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of plant engineering processes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
