Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our firm's governance, risk management, and controls.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating and reporting on the effectiveness of our governance, risk management, and controls.
  • Raising awareness of control risk and assessing our control culture and conduct risks.
  • Monitoring management's implementation of control measures, including performing regular risk assessments and meeting with business stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Validating the closure of management action points and managing, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and applying this knowledge to our audit work.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a strong risk and control mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' work experience in a related field, with a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, products, and services, as well as experience with Data Analytics tools and techniques.
  • Ability to review and develop code, with a strong understanding of cloud security and risk concepts.
  • Relevant technology standards and regulations, including NIST Cyber Security Framework, Cloud Security Alliance CCM, and ISO 27001.
