Cedar Grove Vets, a progressive first opinion small animal practice in Belfast, is seeking a dedicated and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to undertake a variety of duties, including:
- Nurse consultations, including weight clinics, 6 month checks, nail trimming, and nutrition chats.
- Patient nursing, including critical care, scrub nurse duties, patient triage, blood sampling, catheter placement, and anesthetics for mainly small animals and occasionally exotics.
- Maintaining health and safety standards and hygiene protocols.
Our state-of-the-art facilities, including a fully equipped imaging suite with MRI and CT, provide the ideal environment for our nurses to excel.
Work-Life BalanceWe understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours. Our nurses work up to 25 hours per week across an 8 week rolling rota, with 1:4 weekends and a share of the OOH rota.
We are committed to supporting our nurses in achieving a healthy balance between work and personal life. Our flexible approach allows us to accommodate the needs of our nurses and provide a supportive environment for them to thrive.
Our TeamCedar Grove Vets is a dynamic and supportive team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons, 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistants, and 12 support staff. We have a range of Vets with additional qualifications and certificates, and several working towards further qualifications in the fields of Orthopaedics, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Neurology.
