SEMH Teaching Support Specialist Role

Our partner schools in the Redditch area are looking for dedicated professionals to fill the role of SEMH Teaching Assistants. This opportunity is perfect for those seeking a career change, especially those with experience working with students who require additional support.
The growing number of student referrals has created a higher demand for staff in these schools, making it essential to have additional support to work one-on-one with students and provide general classroom assistance.
Job Requirements:- Provide pastoral and personal support to students outside the classroom.
- Manage student behavior, allowing other teaching assistants to focus on their tasks.
- Work with students who are not in class for various reasons.
- Demonstrate a team player attitude with a positive and adaptable approach.
- Have experience working in an SEMH school or setting.
- Access to free professional development advice and support.
This role is paid on a PAYE basis, ensuring the correct level of Tax and National Insurance without administrative charges. The estimated salary for this position is £20,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
