At Cycas Hospitality, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director - Maintenance to oversee the management of our facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team in London and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of facility maintenance, including building maintenance, grounds maintenance, security, and health & safety. This will involve ensuring that all necessary repairs and maintenance work are carried out promptly and efficiently, as well as developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. If you have a background in maintenance management or a related field and are passionate about delivering exceptional results, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of facility staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for facility maintenance and repair, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and within budget.
  • Monitor and control facility budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing initiatives to reduce expenditure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance management or a related field, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, with experience of implementing and maintaining safe working practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
