About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Engagement Coach. As an Engagement Coach, you will play a pivotal role in increasing participation and engagement among students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver support, mentoring, and coaching to students who are part of our Alternative Provision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality engagement sessions that meet the needs of students
  • Support students who require additional one-on-one assistance
  • Work with the Lead to plan and deliver sessions
  • Attend and engage in all relevant staff meetings and maintain effective communication with staff, students, and other stakeholders
  • Undertake training and CPD as necessary and relevant to the role
  • Ensure the safeguarding and protection of children in your care by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements

  • DBS clearance
  • Coaching, mentoring, assessing, or teaching qualification
  • 3 or more years of experience working with 11-16-year-olds
  • Experience in delivering training and working in diverse education, community, and/or sports environments
  • Experience of working with young people who are hard to engage
