Overview:

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software items used within our Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software items to control mathematical models with input/output interfaces in real-time.
  • Develop software for performing data analysis and visualization.
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to integrate hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and technical guides.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability and experience in software development, ideally using C, C++, or similar.
  • Experience developing within the Linux environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with varied engineering teams and communicate technical information effectively.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience integrating hardware and software components.
  • Experience with multi-threaded software products.
  • Experience with driver-level software development.
  • Experience using Matlab/Simulink.
  • Understanding of real-time computing systems and mathematical modeling concepts.
