Job Title: Systems And Tools Developer

The Systems and Tools team at MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Software Developer to play a key role in the company's Customer Support digital transformation journey. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing new or improving existing software applications that manage customer support activities, utilizing software best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new or improve existing software applications that manage customer support activities
  • Help the Customer Support management team to improve data analysis techniques
  • Create and manage project documentation, user guides, test plans, and work packages for projects and works orders
  • Act as lead developer on projects, carrying out the necessary activities of the software development lifecycle
  • Work with a multi-national team and have opportunities for international travel and development of language skills
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in software development and/or good experience as a Software Engineer
  • Knowledge in Back-end & front-end programming languages (Microsoft SQL, C#, java/javascript, Powershell)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both IT experts and non-technical staff in the use of their specific IT tools & applications
  • Ability to manage and set own priorities in order to meet objectives
  • Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications
