Your new role:

Are you passionate about driving business growth and building strong client relationships? Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a Business Development Representative.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities through various means, establishing initial contact.
  • Explore new business prospects via a range of enquiries/leads.
  • Utilise the CRM to target leads.
  • Conduct cold calls when appropriate.
  • Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • Showcase products by phone or in person.
  • Attend networking events.
  • Maintain periodic telephone contact with new clients.
  • Update internal teams with relevant commercial news.
  • Assist with large projects as needed.
  • Order from suppliers, negotiating pricing.
  • Raise quotes.
  • Confirm purchase orders with suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You'll need to be switched on, target oriented and a team player.

What you'll get in return

  • 4.5 day working week: 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday.
  • Quarterly bonus scheme following successful sign off after a 3-month probationary period.
  • 22-day holiday, plus bank holidays.
