**Overview of the Role**
We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Farndon Unit, a leading hospital providing specialist care for women with complex mental health needs.
As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will play a crucial role in shaping the delivery of high-quality care and services for our patients. You will be responsible for managing complex cases, formulating care plans, and guiding on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Managing complex cases and developing comprehensive care plans.
- Providing expert guidance on evidence-based treatments and their effectiveness.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- The ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care.
- Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved clinician status.
- Experience in General Adult settings and working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings, and risk assessment and risk management.
