About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Project Lead to join our team at XL CATLIN. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management in the insurance industry and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of cross-functional climate-related initiatives, including net-zero underwriting, energy transition, climate-related risk, and regulation. You will work closely with key stakeholders across business and other functions on program charter, milestone and project planning/roadmap, KPI definitions, and establishing governance structure.

Responsibilities
  • Project initiation: Set up and launch the project, working closely with key stakeholders across business and other functions.
  • Project execution: Work closely with workstream leads/business product owners on the execution and monitoring of the project against milestones, KPIs, and budget.
  • Change Management: Identify key change management steps throughout the project lifecycle and ensure that activities are appropriately followed.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and formalize key issues and risks, drive resolution, and raise key decisions to the appropriate governance committee.
