Job Description

Fugro's Marine Asset Integrity Business is seeking a highly skilled Asset Engineer / Senior Asset Engineer to support our ROV fleet readiness during planning, mobilizations, and offshore operations. As a key member of our Technical and Project Teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's growth and expansion into the offshore energy markets with new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ROV system readiness and current status in conjunction with Project Managers and Technical Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to provide engineering support and advice regarding asset capabilities.
  • Review maintenance records for assets, track equipment failures, and identify problem areas for further investigation and improvement.
  • Monitor and control asset R&M budgets, along with CAPEX applications for investment.
  • Provide technical support to offshore and onshore teams, as well as liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Liaise with innovation teams to identify system improvements and new solutions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the offshore ROV industry.
  • Strong experience of hydraulics, mechanics, electronics (including high voltage).
  • Educated to HNC/HND Level or equivalent completed apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
  • High attention to detail with analytic and problem-solving skills.
